Letting Your Property?

If you are an investor, or you are letting your property, you still need to register and make arrangements to pay the fixed charges and the metered charges during vacant periods. If your property is vacant you may wish to check that the heating controls are set correctly to avoid unnecessary metered charges.

When you have a tenant you can either continue paying the bills and charge them on to your tenant, or you can ensure that the tenant registers for the service in their own name. If you notify us that you have a tenant moving in we will transfer responsibility for the charges to them as soon as we have their signed registration agreement until such time as either they or you notify us that they are moving out and settle their final account.
